Integrating Selenium and FEST

Hi,

Can we integrate Selenium and FEST.

Scenario : A standalone desktop GUI application and website on server.

Operation like file generation is done through GUI application and is published to the server and there more operation are
carried out on the basis of published file. I can separately automate test for GUI using FEST and site using
selenium but can be done in sequence. Mean to say after publishing file, automatically it should go to site and do operations.

Please comment on this. Is this feasible?

Isn't FEST for Swing and Selenium for web pages?

Yes you are right.

But if you see my case then its sequential. What i mean to say Fest calling selenium tests. Once FEST is done testing Swing, control passes to selenium test.

Any way??

Oh! I get it now.

To run them sequentially, you would write a TestSuite that refers to both tests (or groups of tests) in the order you want to run them. They syntax varies between JUnit 3 and 4.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
