query regarding WEB-INF\classes folder

suppose i have a java file name com\Test.java where com is the package name. now where we put our Test.class file for tomcat server. under WEB-INF\classes\ folder or WEB-INF\classes\com\ folder. Please guide me.

Depends on package declaration of the class file itself.

does it mean that i need to check whether package declaration exists in the .class file using decompiler?

If you don't have the java source of it, then yes you need to decompile it. The path of the file in the classpath must match the package declaration.
