Shout to techies for help - I have been trying to resolve this since a few days but no luck. I have a PC and a Laptop both sharing the same Wireless router to connect to the Internet but I cannot share files between them. Any clue how to go about it ? I use a SpeedTouch 9200 Wireless Router and AOL as my ISP. Thanks in Advance

I suspect OS and versions could be helpful for someone who would be able to answer; I'll assume here it's two Windows machines, but I'm not a Windows person myself. Do you know how to use Windows sharing in general -- i.e., could you get these two machines sharing files if they were both on a wired hub?

When I was using Windows, I was able to connect my Win98 desktop to my WinME NoteBook. But after "upgrading" to an XP desktop, I couldn't figure it out. (Maybe I'm not a geek after all.) When I switched to Mac, I couldn't believe how easy it is to wirelessly transfer files between my PowerBook and iMac using the built-in Bluetooth file transfer.

You probably got the XP firewall in SP2 that is messing things up. Can you ping between the two machines ?
