Question about generating XSD

I have a question regarding generating XSD files.

I saw example in
It looks like this in the root element when you want to have an XML file refer to an XSD.

When I tried generating the XSD from the XML (I'm using "Oxygen XML Editor"), there are two files generated. For example if my XML file name is test.xml, it will generate two XSD: test.xsd and xsi.xsd



My question is: should I include this part below before or after I generate the XSD?

Since if I don't include this part, it looks like that it only generates one file, the test.xsd
