Hi All,
I have heard that in actual exam before each topic we are asked our knowledge level for the topic,
How does it matter?? If I choose my level as cannot ans without gudence ,will it generate easier q's.

I am sure this is not correct but can any of you real exam taker tell about the reason behind

I don't think that the exam asks for any such questions on your knowledge. There is just a normal survey which contains I think 8 questions but it is not related to objectives of SCJP and it doesn't effect the type of questions that you get...

They ask unrelated questions like the one you mentioned but I believe they do not reflect on your score

Sun probably asks questions like that because they want to know what kind of people are doing the SCJP exam, for example so that they can tune the SCJP exam to the people that are interested in it in the future.

Such questions do not influence your score on the exam.
