scjp training

is it a good idea to get a training from some institue for scjp.as i am intermediate level programmer.please suggest

Aren't you taking training in javaranch, where will you get so much ranchers, authors, sheriffs, real-time developers?

If you can devote time for a training class that same amount of time + rancher's help would be enough for SCJP

Do you think if you go to institute you will do constant study, how much time you will seat there? What will you do at that time?

thanks for your valuable suggestions.i tried to do mock test of examlab i got only 30%.so i got disappointed .is the real exam is also that much tough

As you are attending much before you are prepared, have you done 2 minutes-drill and self test in K&B books. Just do self-test in K&B book 2-3 times, make all the programs asked in self-test even in chapters, comment in programs what you learned, write package name related to topic name such as kethysiera.innerclass, kethysiera.synchronization, kethysiera.collection.map, kethysiera.generics, kethysiera.generics.confusing, kethysiera.generics.compilerwarnings etc...., give your source filename the concept covered by that source file, such as NotifyDoesNotReleaseLock.java, TrailingSpacesAreDiscarded.java, StringBufferThreadSafeTest.java, AnonymousInnerClassCannotHaveStaticMethod.

Make lots of examples, no matter where you find that example, only thing matters that you understand the concept clearly.
