I am providing this functionality in GUI.

1. Search only name and/or location fields
2. Book Record
3. Search Result in JTable
4. Releasing Record

is it okay or should I provide something more ?

Booking Record steps -
1. Lock the record
2. Get the record
3. Update customer Id field
4. Unlock the record

is it okay steps for booking record?

Hi Pramod, I am also working on B&S

Release record: My specifications do not ask for functionality of releasing a record, if your's to do not, then it would be an extra effort which will not get any score.

Search all records:
My Specifications say:
It must allow the user to search the data for all records, or for records where the name and/or location fields exactly match values specified by the user

I did not impliment loadingo of all records into JTable, I am Justifying it in my choices that this it would make no sense for user to load whole database into JTable for example if the company servs country wide, it can be too taxing on network resources to load and display whole datbase.

WHAT have you done about this.

Ranches: any suggestinos..
