Does anyone listen to metal here? I am talking about death, power, black or thrash. My music list is kinda getting old and I need to update myself with some new music and bands.
I want to listen to bands like Ensiferum, Opeth, Amon Amarth who are new and play melodic death. I have few of their albums already.
Heard Metallica is coming out with a new album at the end of the year. Would be interesting to see which genre of metal they would throw in this time.

how is music classified into metal,death,power,black etc? what are the other classifations in this section of music?

Music or rather Heavy metal is divided into a no. of genres and a few of them are the ones i mentioned above. Death metal, black metal generally consist of songs with a lot of profane meaning.
