Is there any tool that is free open source for content authoring, which means i can prepare a book which contains some chapters , each chapter contains text, images ,audio, video etc from using that tool.

I don't need cms open source. I want content editor[rich text editor] which can put text, image, audio and video.

Sounds like you're looking for a CMS: http://java-source.net/open-source/content-managment-systems

OpenCMS, Magnolia and Alfresco are the most popular and powerful ones.
