Tomcat and NTLM authentication

I am doing NTLM authentication using jcifs . My web.xml is like this:

<!-- NTLM Authentication -->

am using struts and working in eclipse. The problem is when i start my server, An applet alert dialog is shown and i have to click on Allow button for the jcifs to be configured properly, otherwise it throws an exception. Even after that, when i try to access a link, i the applet alert keeps on displaying and i have to click on Allow button many times, before finally the whole configuration works and the user is authenticated. WHen i try to access the link from a remote machine, then also i have to click on the Allow button in the applet alerts in the server ..then only it works.

WHat am I doing wrong here or do I have to do some additional settings??

Thanks in advance

What is the "applet alert dialog" you're talking about? Can you post a screenshot of it?

Hi All,

I have found the reason for the applet thing. It was because of me being in a secured zone in my work place (network). THanks for the reply
