No work - tests your patience. I had to wait for almost 2 months to get some work. I spent most of my time reading books, going through articles and looking at the clock for the hour hand to strike 5pm.

OK, so you've got no work today and your BORED?? Do you have nothing in your life outside work? Do not make work your life, it should only be a small part of your life. Go out, meet people, have fun, take up a hobby, learn about something enitrely seperate from work. There's no excuse for bordom, bordom only shows a lack of imagination.
Pounding at a thick stone wall won't move it, sometimes, you need to step back to see the way around.
You need a life. I have tons of things to do when I have less/no work in the office. You should be thanking your lucky stars.
For example if it's nice outside, I go out for a walk. Enjoy the singing/chirping of the birds; Spring is here! Breathe the fresh air. Stretch Out. Observe how the trees change color. I try to enjoy the simple pleasure of life.
I even saw a couple of huge Vultures the other day.
