Best technical blog website?

Hi all

I would like to know the best technical (computer science) blogging website. Currently I am blogging at blogger.com, but I am not very comfortable with it.. basically for its lack of categorization of blogs. I also tried few hacks but they aren't exactly what I wanted. I want categories and subcategories, so that I can organize my blogs over vast categories. Are there any other blogger hacks which will do these for me?

Are there any other blogging community which has the above mentioned functionality and also a good technical community? Obviously I want my blog to be active. Although it depends on my content, but the activeness of the community in the blogging website also matters. I know that blogger.com has such a huge active community and thatz why I went for it, but unfortunately now I need to categorize things.

If I think of blogs, the first thing comes to my mind is the quote from maddox (www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net) which says that "If minds had anuses, blogging would be what your mind would do when it had to take a dump".
