Hi a newbie question coming up , just wanted to confirm my understanding about the difference between parameter entities and parsed entities

According to me parameter entites can be used for text replacement within a DTD

and parsed entities can be used for text repleacement within a XML instance.

Kindly confirm and add to it (If there is something to add )

Thanks
