Can someone let me know how tough is it to prepare for BCD 5 certification in 1 month timeframe.
I have an urgent requirement to do the same. Please suggest me how to go about it.
I have experience in EJB2.0. But, I havent used EJB 3 yet.
1 month would be less, even if you decide to prepare full time.
SCJP 1.4 - 95% [ My Story ] - SCWCD 1.4 - 91% [ My Story ] Performance is a compulsion, not a option, if my existence is to be justified.

I think around 20 days is enough if you are not working & only have time to read. But if your are working then 1 months or more required to prepare. You need to prepare for EJB 3 in Action, Specification, MZ Notes, Mocks etc.
I have cleared 90% SCBCD 5 on march 2nd. And I have prepared for a month. And also I work full-time.
I have used EJB 3 In Action and Mastering EJB3. I highly recommend that you use Mikalai Zaikin study guide(http://faq.javaranch.com/java/ScbcdLinks), thanks to Mikalai Zaikin. And also try finding some mock exams.
GoodLuck and Focus!!!

Hi,
The question does not provide enough information for a exact answer.
That really depends on your experience, if you work already fro some year in the filed (JEE&Web) and you have a very solid background and an entire free month then you can have a chance. You only must go over the core specs (+persistence) and if you are conformable with what you find there and relaying on your vaster practical affairs you can get a passing score.
Otherwise, is hard to say.
The exam is not so hard(if I compare it with its predecessors) but it requires some study and a lot of practice.

Is it possible in the first place.
