hi madam/sir,

This is umesh. I am a beginner in java. I am following HEAD FIRST JAVA 2nd edition. I hav one query regarding string.

On page: 661, appendix B: the following is written:

" The other issue with the String is that the Garbage Collector does not go in String Pool...."

I didn't get the meaning. If the garbage collector does not go in in String pool then how they are freed???

Looking for the appreciation move.
