This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I started preparing for the new SCDJWS exam, worked through a few chapters of the Monson-Haefel book, while skipping outdated stuff.
Currently reading through the new specs of soap, wsdl.. etc. which is pretty boring. I'm also working through the WS part of the SUN Java EE 5 tutorial, which is more practically oriented and more fun, but not deep enough.
I came across this book on amazon
Web Services: Principles and Technology
by Michael P. Papazoglou
and was wondering if anyone here in this forum can comment on this book or even recommend it as preparation material for the NEW SCDJWS exam. Would be nice to get some feedback as it's pretty costy.
