Why isn't there a SCBCD book to buy for Java EE 5?

I was wondering why isn't there a exam study kit (book) for SCBCD, Java EE 5

Don't get me wrong. EJB in Action and Mikalai Zaikin study kit are superb. However, I feel I wouldn't be comfortable writing a test unless I have done some practice question and see what kind of mistakes I would potentially make in the test.

I kind of need some books like the McGraw Hill ones for SCJP and SCWCD.
I know there is a Mannings SCBCD book but it is only for Java EE 1.3 I think...
I dont trust the websites enough. They are expensive, and any positive review for those packages I see online just don't seem credible enough (to me, anyway).

So, is there a better source for me? Are those free (sample) practice questions online good enough? (

On that very link you posted, there are links to 4 books which contain material useful for this exam.
In fact, there is the Manning book which afaik is very up to date?

28/06/06 - SCJP - 69%, 05/06/07 - SCWCD - 92%, 28/02/08 - IBM DB2 v9 Fundamentals (Exam 730) - 87%, 18/11/08 - IBM DB2 v9 DBA (Exam 731) - 89%, 26/02/11 - SCBCD - 88%

You can find some free mock exams on the internet.

About your question, I think maybe it's because there are many good books for EJB 3 already, writing a SCBCD 5 book is quite risk.

SCJA 1.0, SCJP 1.4, SCWCD 1.4, SCBCD 1.3, SCJP 5.0, SCEA 5, SCBCD 5; OCUP - Fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced; IBM Certified Solution Designer - OOAD, vUML 2; SpringSource Certified Spring Professional
I agree. Here's the link:
