Hi,

Looks like the news about the publication of the 3rd Edition of our book has already been posted on this forum.

We just want to add a couple of things.

The book covers the SCJP 1.6 (a.k.a. SCJP 6).

You can check out the website of the book here:
http://www.ii.uib.no/~khalid/pgjc3e/

We have also posted resources to help prepare for the SCJP exam.

Enjoy and tell us what you think!

PS. A book promo on Javaranch is planned in the near future.

The solution for the mock exam in the book is given in the book.
The mock exam simulator that can be downloaded, intentionally does not divulge the answers, like the real exam.
This is a feature of the mock exam simulator.

But if the solution for the downloadable mocks are not given then how would be the mock exams be helpful??? I mean in the learn process... I think it would be good if answers are given....

I agree with you that ideally the exam simulator ought to show the answers.
This exam simulator is basically the same as the one that was released with the second edition of the book.
We basically upgraded it with questions for SCJP 6.
We are talking with JavaBlackBelt (http://www.javablackbelt.com/) to make the mock exam available online, which we hope will provide a better learning experience.
So watch the book website for the annoucement.
