exception mapping problems

Hi,

I am working with Rational Application Developer 7.0 / Websphere 6.1.

I deployed a web service from a wsdl file. An exception is defined in this wsdl file so that the generated service and stub handle this exception. It all works fine (exception handling on the client side works too), but I needed to define a customized mapping, so I generated a new client with a new mapping (same wsdl, same service). Now it seems to continue working but the user-exceptions thrown by the web service are no longer caught, because they're nested in a SoapFaultException. I think its a problem due to the customized mapping, but why does it only affect the exceptions ? (the other objects returned by the web service are correctly mapped)

And, what part of the generated proxy can I modify in order to catch my user-exception with my customized mapping?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
