how to wrap my java code into an application

hi all,

i am not sure about the proper terminology.

after i write out the java code, how do i wrap it up and make it look like an application? ie there is an icon where i can click and run my application? rather than going to my IDE and click run.

is there something like a wrapper tool that i can use? thanks!

Read the Java Tutorials section about deployment. That should provide all the information you need.

Your IDE may be able to create a .jar file for you.
