Batch Framework in J2EE

Hi All,
I am in the process of searching for a batch framework to be used in our J2EE product.
So it means it would have to run in a J2EE container.

I considered Quartz - But it seems to be using direct (un-managed) thread from java. This would be a problem in container.

Another option is Spring batch - It seems to be a decent choice.

Any other options?

Thanks in Advance,

Check out this discussion on theServerSide and this thread in the Spring forums. They both discuss the roles of Spring Batch and Quartz, and the discussion on theServerSide mentions some other frameworks, too.
