Passed SCBCD with 86%

I recently passed the SCBCD exam (310-091) with 86%. I spent about 4 months. The following is what I did:

1. Read Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, Fifth Edition: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596009786/?CMP=AFC-ak_book&ATT=Enterprise+JavaBeans+3.0
2. Read Mikalai Zaikin's SCBCD 5.0 Guide: http://faq.javaranch.com/content/MZ_SCBCD_5_Study_Guide.pdf
3. Took five Enthuware exams ($29, 305 questions): http://www.enthuware.com/ejbplus/index.html
Very important: I spent a good amount of time for each Enthuware exam reviewing every question afterwards, learning from my mistakes and putting those experiences in note form.
4. In parallel with 3), I read selected parts of the core spec (chapter 1-7, 14 and 20) and the persistence spec (most of it).
5. Took Sun's assesment test: http://sg.sun.com/training/certification/assessment/091-Jintro.jsp

In my five Enthuware exams, I got between 40% and 70% correct answers. The day before the exam I scored 63% in Sun's assesment test.

The Enthuware exams are worth every penny (or Danish kroner, in this case) and I would highly recommend buying them or something equivalent. There are, however, some mistakes in their questions as well as their answers so read their answers carefully and be sceptical. Consult the specs when in doubt.

I want to recommend NOT reading Mikalai Zaikin's guide. The English is quite bad in places, sentences are missing words in many places and e.g. tables are missing data. If I had to do it over, I would definitely recommend spending the time I spent on that reading the specs instead.

So, obviously I think the real exam was quite a bit easier than Enthuware's exams and MUCH easier than Sun's assesment so don't panic if you don't score 90%+ on those!
