Hey guys and gals,

i am pretty new to JSF and having the strangest of problems.
i have a JSP page that looks like this :

my bean looks like the following :

As you can see that i am logging what i am getting from the bound bean. but for some reason when i get the value from JSF it gives me something to the effect of:

2009-02-27 07:48:38,247 INFO [za.co.fpc.controller.ClientController] - Logging information to client system javax.faces.component.html.HtmlInputText@d9ceea
2009-02-27 07:48:38,247 INFO [za.co.fpc.controller.ClientController] - Logging information to client system javax.faces.component.html.HtmlInputText@19f9c7a

I hope some one has encountered as i am sure they have as i am probably missing something silly somewhere.
