Hi All,
I have completed two IBM Certification exam 1. AIX-5L Basic Operation(March-2007) and 2.XML Certification(Nov-2008). Both the certification I have written at authorized Prometric centre and I have the exam report with me. But after so long also, there is no clue, where is my certification kit.
Even at IBM web site I am not able to get any relevant information. Does IBM send a certificate of completion???
Please give your inputs to reduce my agitation.
Thanks
Sujit Singh

You're posting in the wrong forum, just to mention it. But - as far as I know, IBM stopped automatically sending certification kits. I believe that there is a way, if you log into their site, to request a kit be sent to you or to print out the appropriate certificates. (It's not that uncommon - Microsoft makes you have to request one too.)

As far as I remember, IBM stopped sending hard copies even on request.
Only PDF form certificates are currently available. (I might be wrong)

Hey MZ,
Can you please tell me the link to web site where I can get the history of IBM - certifications done and their PDF format.
Can we track the certifications done, like for SUN-CERTIFICATIONS?
Thanks

Hi !

You can track your progress at this web-site : https://www-304.ibm.com/jct09001d/certify/member/ccsc.nsf

P.S. I was right - IBM does not provide hard copies any more (although, they keep check box to order hard copy, but it's disabled ;-)))

P.P.S. Official answer from IBM from support forum:

https://www-304.ibm.com/certify/member/Forum.nsf/DateAllThreadedweb/93bac39bc48ec9d38525751b00587018?OpenDocument

In support of IBM's commitment to the worldwide greening effort, IBM Certification is reducing paper usage as an environmentally-friendly approach to awarding certificates. Hardcopy paper certificates are no longer offered for Information Management, Lotus, Rational, SOA, and WebSphere certification. Certificates for these programs are only available in a softcopy PDF format. If you have questions or comments regarding this change, please send a note to certify@us.ibm.com.

MZ
