Hi,

I need a small clarification as far as the SCJP 5 examination is concerned. I am about to take the exam in April 2009.

Through a word-of-mouth, a guy told me that BEFORE you start taking the real test, you are asked to rate yourself (on a scale of 5) on the topics covered in the exam. Based on your rating the number of questions / the complexity of the questions will be decided.

People, let me know how far is this true?

Many thanks!

This is just a myth and there is nothing like this. You will be asked a few questions but that will not decide the questions that you get...

Thanks Ankit. Are you damn sure? BTW, what's your score?

Can you give me last minute tips before sitting for the exam?

I yam damn damn sure . And my score is in my signature . Its 98%

First of all you have more than last minute right now as you are going to give the exam in april. I would say that you must give a lot of mock exams especially K&B Master Exam, Inquisition and Examlab. If you want, go for some paid mock exams like Whizlabs or Enthuware but I didn't use any of them and I think I scored well ...

Hi guys,
do we have a site that has chapter wise questions that drills down each and every concept in a particular chapter for SCJP5. This will help to understand the concepts more clearly. Thanks in advance.

This is a misunderstanding which has been discussed here before.

Sun might ask you some questions about your level of expertise and experience with Java, but these questions are only to find out what the general profile is of people who are interested in the SCJP exam. These questions do NOT have any influence on your exam, which questions are asked or your score.
