Clover, the JavaRanch hound, moves on to greener pastures

I have some sad news. Clover, probably the first dog to learn polymorphism (as described in a JavaRanch campfire story), passed away yesterday. She was a happy ranch dog right up to the end, helping J.P. the farrier clean up horse hooves and stashing treats in the hay barn (in case of emergency!).

So sorry Bert and Kathy. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved friend.

I dread the day myself. Dogs have a personality of their own and become a part of your family. Sorry to hear Clover is no more. I used to think he was just one of the pictures that you used from a picture pool for the head first series.

Are you planning on getting a puppy ? It might help lessen your pain
