Java SL-275 Student Workbook

Hello everyone,
I am a student who recently joined java programming course (in NIIT). I was given some books which provide just the basic knowledge of the syntax. The workbook given in this course contains code problems supposed to be solved by manually testing them on your machine. But unfortunately I have not been able to get the codes from my institute , they say they don't have (even though they are authorized training partner of SUN)
somebody please help me.

It would teach you a lot more if you write the code yourself. I presume the questions given are nice and easy, so you can start with something simple.
Please post what you have done to date, and we shall be happy to look at it.
