Guys,

What is the difference between the two when say I want to develop a Mobile Application. Which one would best suit the need and moreover which is easy to grasp without much hassle?

Android is meant specifically for mobile development (although there are rumors that it may be appearing on netbooks soon), whereas Java FX is a general purpose technology for UI development in Java and is more suited for the desktop.
