Hi all,

I'm glad to let you know that I've successfully completed the IBM SOA Associate Certification (IBM SOA 669).
This forum was helpful. I'm very much thankful to this forum members.

I took 2-3 weeks time to prepare but actually depends upon the person's current SOA understanding and exposure. I've gone thru the sample test too.

Preparation material:
1. SOA fundamentals in a nutshell (available in the ibm site, google for it)
2. Smart SOA Technology & Practice (
3. IBM red books on Governance & Management (ch: 1,2,3), Registry & Repository (ch: 1,2,5) Security (ch: 1,2)
4. Some of the web resources mentioned in the IBM SOA 669's certification URL

Yahoo group on IBM SOA is also very much helpful.

Are these specific chapters from these books what you have mentioned is simply enough to gain knowledge which is just enough to clear the exam?

Hi Sreenivasa,

In India where should we register to take 669 exam ? Can we register it at the prometric center like NIIT?
