I just wanted to know that whenever I open a new class I get a block comment at the top of the page. What is this for? Liscensing? I want to know what is require for SCJD. Must I use this block comment and if it is what should I fill in there. The current format I am using is a simple javadoc at the start of every class that describes the class function.

Also have another question about javadocs and a date. Is there a date command like @date? I dont see one. Only @param @ version etc.

SCJP 6.0, SCJD (400/400), SCBCD for JEE 5, SCWCD 1.4 I do videos for development at

Thank you that was exactly what I was looking for. Still leaves a question unanswered however? I should leave licensing out I take it?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
