I took this post from Johannes from another thread, as a way to explain the strange names under the moose...
I've been busy with a production release that has gone terribly wrong & also reorganizing my life at the moment. My postings as a whole at the JR will decrease drastically till about end of Feb 2002. ps except for one little autorization problem the production problems have been solved
Anytime you want back, JdJ, just say so. Don't be a stranger, OK - we'll miss you. And don't forget to come by and pick on Jason every now and then.
Glad to hear the production problems are solved. all the best, Pauline
To quote my posting in the MO forum :- I've resigned from my moderatorship of the Cattle Drive Forum. To quote from my resignation e-mail "I'm going through some mayor changes in my life at the moment, both at work and privately, no none bad . I need to take time out and sort out a few things for myself." Pauline and Jason have been kind enough to take over the responsibility of moderating the Cattle drive. Thanks guys I will still post the threads for the new book reviews in the Book Reviews Forum when Jane wakes my up, but till about the end of Feb 2002 my posting here at the Java Ranch will decrease considerably. But having said that I will be back , the Java Ranch means a LOT to me. So Pauline I wont be a stranger thanks ps my production problems made me realize I needed to re-think a few things, so something good came out of it

Good luck sorting things out, should be no problem after having gone through OOP-3!! (Couldn't resist )
Darn, Pauline beat me to the punch of creating a second personality that implements the Comparator class to help sort your priorities... ugh, I'm a geek. Hope you get things all in order, I promise I won't say anything about you while you're away *evil laughter* Jason [This message has been edited by jason adam (edited November 27, 2001).]
Well, the only constant in my life has been that things change. I just try to find something positive to work towards, and try not to step in any fresh cow pies! Take care of business and rest assured that we at the ranch will be watchin' for your return!
