Hi

This might sound stupid but I cant seem to find a way to change the language preference of my JVM. When I am running Oracle, Glassfish, etc... on my machine they only spits out Chinese output messages... I do not understand those technical terms because I learn to program in English...

I figure if I change the JVM language preference to English it would all go back to normal right? But I just don't know how I can change it

any help?

thanks

Oh, I found it

I got to change my language preference from Windows

Now my question is: is that the only way?

You could try calling Locale.setDefault(Locale.ENGLISH) at the start of your application.
