SCJP 5, Help in planning for exam

Some Facts for you
I have to give exam on 3rd Apr 09
I have 18 days left.
I am working in a F/T job
I have studied K&B book once back in Dec 08.
Only mock exams I have done till now are the two K&B practice exams that come on the cd
I am weak in Generics

So how to go about preparation keeping in mind the above. I have recently started revising the K&B book

Brush through the topics once more and find you what you cannot remember. Strengthen your areas here and try more mock exams to increase your confidence.

You finished reading the book back in Dec ? Did you wait till the certification voucher was about to expire

Hi Deepak,

How many times have you read the K&B book? You need to brush through it a few more times, i suggest at least 2 more times. Then try to do as many mocks as you can. Mocks will make the greatest difference.
As you are in a full time job, if you cant read the book 2 times, at least try to read all the important points that are given at the end of each chapter.
Also, when you are giving mocks, try to understand why the correct options are correct, and why the wrong ones are wrong. This will help you to eliminate the wrong answers. And elimination strategy is extremely helpful during the exam, because it will help you save a lot of time.
