Hi All,

I have dir1 and dir2. I created a sym link for scripts folder which is in dir2 in dir1. Now, I am unable to access the scripts in dir2 using the symlink in my dir1.

say the script name is runcodes.pl How do I run it?

Thanks.

Hi Arjun,

it depends from where you want to start the script ;-)

If you are in the same directory as the script you have to type ./runcodes.pl which is probably your problem. Besides this you can always give the absolute path name to the script (starting from the root /). Or you can use relative paths like ../../scripts/runcodes.pl.
