Hi all ,
In HFJS I could see in page 42 " the container converts response object into HTTP response" where as in page 61 it is said that the web server does that activity. Can any one conform which one is correct?

Hi Kiran, welcome to javaranch.

The web server just passes client requests to the servlet container and the container is responsible for the conversion (I think so )...

Ankit is right!!

web container is responsible for providing , implementation details for all the required interfaces. like servletRequest OR httpServletRequest.

Thanks Ankit and Poonam.

So I can conclude that the job of convertion from response object into HTTP response is done by container and hands it over to web server app which gives the same it to client, can I?
