Reporting bugs in SCJP Java 6 Study Guide?

Just wondering. Working through the Sierra/Bates Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide I'm finding various typos, i.e., bugs in some of the questions/answers.
Since this book specifically calls out JavaRanch as one of its major contributing references, and I can't find an email address for reporting such issues, I was hoping someone here could direct me to a service for such matters? Is there a site that provides known issues and updates?
For example, in my text, there's a question on page 281 (Self Test Answers) which provides class Bridge like this:

And the answer claims to be A and B could be correct. Looking at this code there is a pretty obvious issue which would simply invalidate this answer.

line 20 has a call to Suits.NOTRUMP.getBidValue(3) there is no such method (I'm guessing it's supposed to be getValue()) so there's compile error

so:

I am not sure where the errata for the new book is. However Bert looks this forum up now and then, so he might bump into it, or a moderator might inform him about it. You can also send him a private message if you like.

1) code on line 21 has a call Suits.SPADES.points and that can't work because the points member is private. Compile error #1.

Hi Karl,
you are right with one small change: the first error you report is at line 6 not 21 (see compiler's output).

I hate reporting errors with errors. You of course are correct, and I corrected my original post (and this one too after rerunning the original code). I found that there wasn't an access issue with the private points member variable, though that does bring up the question, how is it possible that this:

works? I would think that it being private would make it inaccessible in the above case.
Thanks,
Karl
