I haven't used DbVisualizer, I have another favorite tool I use from my Windows to run against DB2 in z/OS and Oracle. But I just noticed we also have DBVisualizer available at our shop here at Volvo IT.
So I have ordered it now and will compare it to AQT to see what benefits there are. Maybe I come back if I have any questions.
I'd like to clarify a few things:
1) This is a software promo not a book promo. There isn't a book.
2) We don't require products to be new to participate in a promo. The fact that people are saying they forgot about it or didn't know about it proves this promo has value.
3) Please ask questions in other threads. This thread is for welcoming Roger (and Hans.) Posts in this thread are not eligible to win.
I am a student currently taking a course "Visual Basic Database Programming" using text Murach's ADO.NET 2.0 database programming withVB 2005.
Is this product something I could benefit from as a student learning and if so please pick me would love to have any tool to help learn to be a better developer.
