I'm comfortable with MySQL GUI Tools (MySQL Administrator, MySQL Query Browser) but I'm not really happy with either of them. They are slow, don't help much with syntax errors, and the UI isn't all that intuitive. For example, I can't use control-c to copy a field value in a results set, I have to right click and choose an option from a menu.
I don't need a lot of bells as whistles, just a really useful query/table analyzer. How might DBVisualizer help me out in this regard?
The best way to see what DbVisualizer has to offer is to download it and ask for an evaluation license. There is also lots of feature overview, online demos and the Users Guide that you can look at on our website.
