Toshiba makes good ones too. I recently bought one in April.
But I don't see why you would want a P4. Or Pentium M for that matter.
Intel Core Duo (as opposed to the brand new Core 2 Duos) are inexpensive now and they are dual core (two CPUs for the price of one?).
Again, don't confuse the new, expensive (for now and for portables) Core 2s with the newly made old Core Duos. Get a Core Duo T2500, T2600 or even better a T2700 at a good price. September is the month when the new Core 2s will make their appearance in LAP TOPS (desk tops happened in Aug). This means that 'old' Core Duos should drop in price.
Also, 1GB of RAM is becoming mainstream. The new ones are coming out with 2GB.
I'm also planning to buy a laptop computer. In my country, currently, the (international) brand that has the most affordable price for a laptop that has a Intel Core Duo processor is Acer. Does anyone here have any good or bad experience of Acer laptops? And what are the advantages of the new Core 2 Duo over the Core Duo?
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
