Aaack! You caught us with our pants down! Here we are, tinkering with the servers and you show up. How awkward! Try back in just a minute... Sincerely, the red faced JavaRanch staff.

Nice (no reply expected).

Harshana,
The next time it happens, can you post the data and time (JavaRanch time at the bottom of the page) so we can look in the logs. I don't get that error when I post.

I asked you what timezone that time was in, but then I saw where Jeanne told you to copy it from the page bottom, so I deleted my query.

Oh you deleted your post. and is this the case with couple threads in MD? There also I have replied in some threads(MJ passed away, for example) but they got deleted or something happened to them.

PS: I am not the person to whom who replied here before, just for your information. It's Harshana Dias.

Posts get deleted for various reasons, usually because they're not nice, or because they're off-topic. I looked in the logs, and I can see one post you made in that thread in which you were replying to a not-nice person. The not-nice posts, and all replies to them, were deleted. That's the only post of yours that has been deleted within the last three days.

We're volunteers. We don't schedule our lives around deployments. I will say that most planned deployments are on the weekend though. Judging by historical data. Of course this would be weekend from the point of view of the United States. Sunday evening from my point of view may be close to the opening of business in Asia. On the bright side, these outages are only a couple minutes.
