Can any one explain about the static keyword,static methods and static method overiding ?

Abhi static is a very big topic in itself. Don't you think it would be better that you consult a book and then ask for specific queries here rather than asking for clarification on the whole topic...

Generally, a static member has only one copy of code per class which is shared between all instances of the class.
