i am planning to use myeclipse creating servlet/jsp project for my SCWCD exam preparation, can someone suggest if its necessary or i can go with Eclipse IDE alone

you can go with a plain editor.

What mean/is servelet ?

It's a typo. He means servlet. You could use Eclipse as IDE.
