You are missing the Spring jars

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet

Missing that class which is in the Core Spring jars.

I have checked in the lib folder.

It contains all the jar files present in spring-framework-3.0.0.M2.
Is there any jar file that i have noy included in the lib folder.

Hey Vidhi,

Welcome to JavaRanch!

You can verify if one of those jar contains org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet class. Usually spring.jar contains it. And make sure all the library files are in classpath.
