I like "Big Bang Theory". the main characters are uber-smart geeks. i can relate to them not in the uber-smart part, but definitely the geek part. They have a physics professor help them get the science right, i hear, too. so it's even educational.

Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.
I don't have to watch "The Office". I work in one that is just as bad.

My wife laughs at me because I get all the jokes... I guess I'm a hopeless geek

OK, but is it as funny? The Office (US version) is my favorite current comedy. Big Bang Theory is the only other I currently watch - it's also pretty good. I may someday get around to checking out How I Met Your Mother.
There are many, many other good comedies in the past. My favorites would include Arrested Development, The Simpsons (first five years, maybe more), and Barney Miller. MASH and Cheers were also good, but I don't think they've aged as well.

How I met your mother is pretty much the best one currently
Two and a half men is old school funny, worth mentioning
Corner gas can sometimes be funny (hit or miss) I wouldn't miss it because as of today there was only 2 episodes left in the series
Scrubs is getting old but it's still somehow watchable... don't know how long ABC will keep it on for
Ones I that don't make me (personally) laugh that much
The office, Big bang theory, Old Christine, 30 Rock
A few new ones like Gary Unmarried, Better off Ted... I REALLY don't get
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
