I currently have a iplanet web server where the etag and last_modified headers gets added by default.
But however i have added 2 lines to remove these headers
Output fn="set-variable" remove-srvhdrs="last-modified"
Output fn="set-variable" remove-srvhdrs="etag"

and have added the below line to add max-age header
Output fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="Cache-Control: max-age=60"

Now when i restart Iplanet webserver, i dont see the last modified, etags headers anymore. I can see the max-age header.
But when i do a refresh for a particular page the contents are not from cache instead, it gives me a 200 requets, meaning it goes to
webserver each time.

could anyone please help in fixing this.How to make the caching work with just the max-age headers.
