I am new to j2me... and now doing small projects....please anyone advise me how to send the data stored in the mobile like contact no.s etc...to the mail account/storing some other place...thanks in advance

You can use mms, http among other tecs. JME provides APIs for lots of different protocols... Take a look at sun's Java ME website, there you'll find lots of information, tutorials and links and it's a good starting point:
