my application is currently using JRE 3 and I want it upgrade to JRE 6. The problem is that when I point the JRE 6 it throws exception at application startup.

I tried google but didnt find any solution. Even when I used JRE 4, the application is working fine but not on JRE 6. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

hey folks,
it has been more than 2 months since I have raised this question, but I havent receive any reply yet. Is there no one who can guide me ?

my application is a client-server application and I am getting this warning on client side only. I tried JRE 4 and 5 too and what I see is that this warning comes only with JRE 5 and 6 not with 3 or 4.
Please suggest what can be the root cause.

I set the log level to get rid of the warning.

Hi Uttam,

We also have a similar kind of issue with the java, are your client application running on windows or linux version. Please check your default gateway of windows.
if you are running the java client in windows 7 please try to turn off IPV6 and see if this error goes. How to disable IPV6 is given in this link http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-ipv6-in-windows-7
