Hi,

Could someone please explain what exactly constitutes a dynamic resource.ie. can I regard JSP's containing HTML only as static documents,and HTML documents containing any client-side/server-side code as dynamic?

And in the case of a servlet forwarding to a JSP that contains HTML only(and whatever attributes were set??)

You can set attributes in request object. In servlet
request.setAttribute("key",yourobject);

After forwarding servlet to JSP , You can get the object from request and display .
In JSP
request.getAttribute("key");
