I have a link in one page and want after click to be redirected to other one and call javascript function from the second page. How to do this?
I've tried with setTimeout() but doesn't work for/because of me.
You will need some JavaScript code on the target page to execute after it is loaded. If you need to pass parameters, it’s common to use the fragment identifier (e.g. #inbox, #all, etc.), or maybe window.name.
If the code is on the same domain, you may be able to do some magic with popup windows and window.opener.
When you change the page you wipe out everything in the page. It is like erasing the whiteboard, you are not going to be able to do anything with the data that used to be there.
You would have to find a way to do it on the page that you called.
is there any way by which we can append the javascript function call after the url....something like the one shown below so that we can use this url as an argument for response.sendRedirect()
