Hi I would like to display a chart from an Excel sheet. Is it possible to get a chart object as an image? If there is an image embedded in a Sheet how can I get all images and save them to a file?

Charts are not stored as image data in an Excel file, so it's not possible to extract and save them as images.

The best library I've ever used for dealing with MS files in Java is Aspose. I don't know for 100% certain it will do what you need, but I'd be surprised if it didn't.

I think what you want is to present excel sheet on other application frame / just display the chart( Excel Sheet) somewhere...

If this is the case you should dwell deeper in to Object Linking and Embedding / any of the Microsoft technologies like COM to display such objects or to embed them,

I'd say that's pretty standard behavior for an evaluation copy.

If you want to use it, then you have to purchase it, yes. That's how commercial software works.
